Established in 2020 by British designer Rutherford Craze, we focus on producing quality typefaces with an emphasis on research and craft.
Our fonts are trusted by independent practitioners and global brands alike, and used for projects ranging from book covers to international exhibitions.
Our primary focus has always been our retail catalogue: a collection of robust, functional typefaces designed for every kind of usage. Working on a small number of designs at a time, we move slowly, test constantly, and never compromise on the final result.
You can license our retail fonts directly for use in your own projects. We developed an ultra-simple licensing model to make that as easy as possible — since introducing it in 2021, our licensing approach has been adopted by numerous other foundries.
Our retail fonts are designed to be versatile, but sometimes you still need a bespoke solution. We can modify any typeface from our catalogue to fit your requirements, from extending their language support to altering or adding entirely custom characters.
Alongside our own font library, we also offer a range of typographic services, from wordmarks and logotypes to entirely custom type families for larger brands.
